I would like to express my deepest appreciation to Give Us Time Charity, for your generosity, for making this trip possible for me. I was able to enjoy a very memorable experience at Sandy Balls Away Resorts. It was that much needed time to reconnect in a peaceful environment.

I went on the trip with my daughter who is 8 and she absolutely loved it. I don’t think she wanted to leave Sandy Balls and she was not the only one.

I was just reading through the reason for the founding of Give Us Time charity because even though I’ve never been deployed, I’m one of those people who continued silently in my work for years and always put up a brave face even though I was struggling.

The trip to Sandy Balls was amazing; however, it was the location itself that actually made my trip all the more special. When I was driving into the New Forest with only trees on miles on end and animals, it personally gave me that feeling of contentment, feeling satisfied and fulfilled, that life is just as it should be. It was indeed a beautiful site with the lodges itself built around the wooded area.

We were not sure what to expect from this trip but were pleasantly surprised especially with the location. The lodges were lovely and clean. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were polite and helpful during our stay. All the arrangements went smoothly.

I cannot thank you enough for this trip. It means the world to me and my daughter.
