Starting the week with some touching feedback from a Forces family following their break earlier this month.
“I’m a soldier awaiting medical discharge and also a separated parent with a 10 year old daughter. The past couple of years have been difficult for us both; meeting her needs while managing recovery with no family support close by has been very hard. I often feel like I’m failing.
“It sounds like a little thing, but the week away in a caravan – supported by a couple of loved ones – gave the space from daily struggles. My daughter was able to have fun without the worries of school and having my full attention.
“Sand Le Mere was quiet and perfect for our needs. The activities staff made my daughter feel special. She loved it.
“Thank you, the little things mean a lot.”
