We were delighted to be able to support Army veteran William and his wife Leah to spend a week away in the spring.
William told us, “Leah and I send our heart felt thanks to you and the team for helping us have a well needed break. We had a lovely time in an outstanding accommodation (The Birds Nest) set next to Carrick Bay with a beach and rolling hills outside the door.
“After 40 years of military service and bringing up a large family, this was a massive reset holiday for myself and Leah. We did feel guilty as for 40 years of service to Queen and children, this was all about us, but we thoroughly enjoyed our days on our own.
“Margaret and Mike were fantastic hosts and everything you needed was in place.”
