5 things you can do at home without technology!

1. Declutter your wardrobe!

This is one of those things we never find time for! But decluttering your wardrobe will help you improve tidiness and free some space in your home. It is also a great opportunity to give away old clothes to charity shops or, if you are a bit crafty, you can alter some old pieces to create something new and creative!

2. Read that book(s)!

Reading is a great way to spend your time during isolation. It will not only help sharpen your mind and increase your vocabulary but reading has also been known to help lower stress.

3. Start a journal!

Starting a journal can be beneficial for your mental health. Writing things down on a piece of paper can help you focusing and freeing your mind. Putting thoughts on the pages of a journal can help you de-stress and see things with a bit more clarity. It’s also something nice to look back to in a few years’ time!

4. Take care of yourself!

A great idea to take care of yourself and have some “me time” is to prepare some home-made face masks. Natural ingredients such as honey, sugar and lemon juice are perfect to give your skin some love. There are plenty of great ideas online: just make sure to check on allergies before putting any ingredient on your skin!

5. Play cards or a board game!

Solitaire is the perfect self-isolation game if you are on your own. If you are with your family, why not play Gin Rummy?
