Give Us Time, Chairman, Matt Rogers told us about Richard’s appointment, “I am personally delighted to welcome Richard into the Give Us Time family. His varied experience and ability to challenge the status quo with a fresh opinion is exactly what we’re looking for as we continue to grow as a charity”.
Speaking about his appointment Richard said, “I’m delighted to let you know that I’ve joined Give Us Time as an active Trustee! I join at a time when relationships in the world are frayed, and conflict feels endemic. As a father of two small children and the leader of two businesses which work with human relationships, long life, and high performance, I’m keen to support the families of our armed forces.
It’s their relationships which support our armed forces, and in turn as Plato in his Laws opined, support valuable, lasting peace. We provide holidays and respite for the husbands, wives, partners and children of our armed forces personnel where otherwise these breaks might not be possible.
Last year we provided hundreds of holidays – let’s make it many hundreds more!”
