Planning A Dog Friendly UK Holiday

With 29% of the UK adult population having a dog, it is important to plan when taking your dog away with you on your holiday.

The first thing to do is too make sure you are booking pet friendly accommodations, not all B&Bs and Parks accept dogs, make sure you don’t book a place that doesn’t allow pets! On the Give Us Time website we have a button which highlight our pet friendly accommodation.

The next step is to look at the activities to do when you are there, look up local dog-friendly activities and places you can go like pubs or cafes.

Don’t forget after you’ve packed to pack for your dog, obvious items you’ll need are: food/water bowl, leash, collar, ID tags, dog waste bags, bed and a towel.

If your journey is long journey make sure you have a bowl and a bottle of water in the car for your dog especially if it’s a hot day. Don’t forget to stop to let your dog stretch its legs and get some fresh air.

Finally, and most importantly enjoy your break with your family and dog.
