The service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces community is beyond question. Their selfless commitment, courageous actions, discipline, loyalty, integrity, and respect for others demand – and deserve – the nation’s unequivocal support.
The UK lost 457 personnel in Afghanistan alone, but this does not reflect the full scale of our service. British Forces deployed alongside US and NATO allies in multiple theatres: the Gulf War (47 lives), Iraq (183), Bosnia (50) and Kosovo (14). Thousands more were wounded, and families continue to live with the visible and invisible impact of those deployments.
Give Us Time honours the courage of all who served – and the families who carried the burden with them. Our charity exists to provide rest, respite and recovery for military families under strain, and we will continue to stand with them, today and always.
