During the podcast we will be talking to is Andy Shaw about his experience in the Falklands war.
At the height of the Falklands War, he was a rifle troop commander in charge of 32 men, and was tasked with operating independently from his unit, in no man’s land.
During the war he was involved in a blue on blue this led to him developing PTSD which overtime brought an end Military career. He bought an old classic yacht and with his wife, sailed off into the North Atlantic to help heal. He went onto start his own Charity “The Mountain Way” which helps Soldiers with PTSD.
