It’s a wonderful Wednesday treat today, courtesy of the Ward family!
They had tickets to Shepreth Wildlife Park over the summer, as part of our Give Us A Moment programme.
Mum Jenna told us, “It has been an incredibly busy 6 1/2 months whilst my husband has been away, but my children, who are 11 and 8, and I had a lovely day at Shepreth Wildlife Park during the summer holidays.
“Firstly, thank you very much for the vouchers. Both of my boys have a great interest in learning about all animals and their habitats. The zookeepers were very informative and the talk about the tiger was my boys’ favourite. The staff were very kind answering all the children’s questions and telling them fun facts.
“We all enjoyed observing the monkeys playing. We had to dodge the rain, so during showers we had a look at the animal skeletons and the different sizes and shapes, and we also enjoyed looking at all the animals in the Reptile house.
“We had fun trying to see who could find the Red Panda first and played games seeing which one of us could guess the most breeds of owl and my 11 year old won!
“We thank the charity and the donors for giving us this opportunity for a lovely day out!”
