“A break we could cherish”

We loved hearing from the Doran family following their stay in France earlier this year. They told us, “Upon arrival we were welcomed by our hosts who showed us around the gite which would be home for a week. It was beautiful, most definitely more than just a home from home, having everything we would ever need whilst being away, and having young children. The grounds also had allotments from which we could help ourselves.

“The gite is far from civilisation, and the hosts described it as ‘a whole lot of nothing to do’, which is exactly what we needed; peacefulness, and quiet away from city life, but close enough drive to the local town for everyday things like picking up groceries and fuel.

“Having pre planned everyday activities, we didn’t let the weather dampen our plans: we visited multiple castles, churches, and a few beaches in touristy seaside resorts such as Vannes. Everyday brough new towns to visit, and many exciting features to look at (myself being as intrigued as the children).

This break away is something I will cherish, spending much needed down time with my children and my mother, making memories together.”

Thank you to our wonderful hosts for this donation!
