The staff were so kind and helpful, providing information on the local area and arranging for us to use the swimming pool during quieter times. After a very stressful year with tribunals and numerous hospital visits, our break away was invaluable. My husband had shut off from us due to stress and barely interacted with myself and the children, but it gave us chance to re-connect and he finally relaxed. We visited a few local attractions, the Heights of Abraham was amazing and the children thoroughly enjoyed exploring the caves. Our favourite part was probably Dovedale stepping stones, we took a picnic and waded in the river looking for fish, we spent hours just enjoying the simple things in life, which we never get to do. As a Mother, it meant the world to me, just to see my family re-connect and enjoying each others company, laughing and smiling. That is priceless and I cannot thank you all enough.
