“Thank you so much for the last-minute break we were able to take in Courtyard Cottage in Port Gaverne. My husband and I adopted a little boy in January this year, so this was a wonderful time to create special memories and bond as a family. What made it extra special was that my parents also joined us – and it was just before my dad’s 70th birthday.
“The adoption journey was very intense, and was on top of a PTSD diagnosis which I am still receiving therapy for, and which will result in a medical discharge from the service soon. A holiday seemed out of reach as we prepare as a family for my wage to be ‘no more’, but this break gave us the chance to step away from the stresses of life and recharge my batteries.
“The accommodation had everything we needed and more, and the host is one of the kindest and most generous people I have come across.
“From the bottom of my heart thank you so much.”
