After years of military service, including extended periods on deployment, the Cole family had a precious few days away to reconnect and reflect.

Dad Ian told us, “I would like to pass on my sincere thanks to you and your team for allowing me the opportunity to take my family away (wife Melanie and daughter Amber) on a break in the beautiful Welsh countryside in the Sponsored Breaks Campervan. Unfortunately, my son Ethan has recently taken on an apprenticeship with a historic car restorer so he couldn’t attend

“It was a well looked-after, clean campervan, offering everything that we needed for a little break away with the family, and we chose the beautiful, scenic Welsh town of Llangollen.   Rather than being stuck in one location, the motorhome offered the freedom to travel around and explore the local area.

“I don’t like to use the passing of my son as an excuse to get time away, but that week was 11 years since the passing of my son Aedan, who passed away from Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy.

“Taking that into account and with a daughter who is currently under the pressure of GCSE’s and a son that has recently finished college and conducting an apprenticeship, our time with each other has become very limited and very precious, so this opportunity was well received.”
