Tom and Gemma had a wonderful stay with one of independent donors, Cwm Llan, earlier this year and shared their thoughts of the stay!
“We came to stay at Cwm Llan for our Babymoon, for some long-needed relaxation following Tom’s deployment to Cyprus and prior to welcoming along our first baby.
“Throughout the process of booking, ahead of and during our stay we received fantastic communication from Kate and Joe, who were polite, friendly and eager to help.
“Upon arriving we were definitely given the wow factor – though the pictures looked fab, they don’t do this place justice. We were greeted by a roaring fire, immaculately clean gorgeous smelling lodge, and all the little touches you could wish for. We loved the way that everything was environmentally and ecologically focused, and we quickly settled into our home from home.
“The lodge has everything you need, and we loved looking up at the views from the bedroom window. We brought lots of supplies so didn’t need to venture far for food, although we purchased some freshly laid eggs from Kate and Joe’s hens.
“This lodge is lovely for pure relaxation, but we also enjoyed days out to the nearby reservoir and Harlech, as well as enjoying a lovely walk around the grounds of the lodge. It was so peaceful and we were outnumbered by the sheep, which we didn’t have any complaints about. We lit a lovely fire outdoors and spent time relaxing in nature as well as the lovely copper tin bath, with complete privacy and peaceful surroundings.
“This stay was the ideal way for us to recharge and reconnect after and before a busy few months, and we are so grateful to Joe and Kate and Give Us Time for making it so special and memorable. Thank you!”
