A heartfelt thanks to the team at @give_us_time and @lochtaylodges for the great family break and the opportunity to create fun family memories last week.

A great way to spend week 3 of veteran life after medical discharge. It couldn’t have been any fuller and life’s cup was filled up lots – literally getting out alive despite all of lifes ups and downs.

A great time was had by all but no one more than a little 4 year old nephew who successfully managed to have his best adventures; exploring, building dens, learning about sphagnum moss and wild funghi, finding his favourite rocks and sticks, sliding, swinging, splashing in wellies and even fiting in time for hot chocolate, crafts and puzzles.

Adventure Auntie and Nature Nephew modes were unlocked and I think a rest is now required.
