Kim and her family had a fantastic day out over the summer, courtesy of a donation from Lincolnshire Wildlife Park. She told us, “We used our tickets when my husband popped home on R&R. We thoroughly enjoyed our full day spent at Lincolnshire Wildlife Park!
“Just prior to going I discovered that a colleague’s partner works at the park with the big cats, so we were able to get a private tour, behind the scenes, with tigers and a black leopard, AND we even got to feed them!
“My 9-year-old, Henry, was a bit anxious with entering the enclosures where the birds fly around and as soon as we entered, a parrot landed on his hat and pinched the button off the top of it; luckily he saw the funny side and he was much more calm afterwards.
“My 2-year-old, George, fell in love with the giant tortoises, and was screaming ‘Turtle’ as he did laps of their enclosure… He has been obsessed with turtles/tortoises ever since!
“It truly was one of our best days out as a family EVER, and we probably would never have had this experience without the generous donation that was awarded to us. We are truly grateful!”
