One family expressed their gratitude for having the opportunity to enjoy one of our respite breaks at The Lower Mill Estate in the Cotswolds.

Reid Villa is part of the beautiful Lower Mill Estate in the heart of the Cotswolds. The Lower Mill Estate is a world-class conservation site that is home to the first family of beavers that were reintroduced to England in 2005. The Estate is also home to a vast variety of wildlife including birds, dragonflies, water voles and otters. All of the accommodation is also sustainable. A break here is to truly escape into the heart of some of the most beautiful English countryside!

The family praised the “excellent facilitates” of both the villa and the estate. The estate offers an amazing array of activities including more than 300 acres of nature to explore, eight lakes and two rivers. There are plenty of opportunities to canoe and kayak as well as walking and cycling. There is also an award-winning spa on the estate. The family enjoyed many of these facilities and they contributed to helping the family unwind and reconnect after difficult times.

The family were extremely grateful and said that it was “exactly what the family needed.”
