We loved reading about Chris and Cameron’s campervan adventure earlier this autumn.

Chris told us, “After being deployed earlier this year, when the opportunity for a weekend away in a camper van came up, I swiftly booked it, and we decided to have a Daddy & Son weekend away.  This gave my son and I the opportunity to bond and have an adventure together.

“We picked up the van from Sponsored Breaks, who were absolutely amazing. It was fully equipped and fuelled up ready to go.

“We headed on the road to North Wales taking the scenic route and stopping on the way to take in the views. We arrived at our final destination, Hafan y Mor, and took full advantage of all the activities available and had an amazing weekend making up for lost time.”

Chris also told us that the whole trip was a surprise for Cameron, who didn’t know he was going away until they arrived to pick the van up.  Cameron said, ‘It was wicked to get away with Daddy and was the best weekend ever!’  Cameron now wants the family to buy a camper van!
